Ha, my grandmother used to have one. And as all socialist products seemed to have, it's brand was named after a female- Kasia (Kate). So she used to tell me: Take Kate and sweep the living room.
I am a huge fan of carpet sweepers too! I only know of one other person who uses--my Mother-in-law, she's a clever one too--great minds. I shall call my girl kate too, I like that!
